Molly is from originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2019 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Sustainability Studies. As an undergraduate, Molly worked as a statistics teaching assistant and participated in research investigating disease ecology within salamander populations. After graduation, she worked as a genetic counseling assistant at PWNHealth where she learned how genetic counseling plays a role for patients who order consumer-initiated genetic testing. Molly chose to attend Rutgers because of the diverse clinical and specialty site opportunities and the strong sense of community she felt from the students and faculty.
