Class of 2023
- Jordan Mattingly
Jordan Mattingly is originally from Warwick, New York. She graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2019 and 2021, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Public Health, respectively. While completing coursework for her MPH program, Jordan also interned for the Newborn Blood Spot Screening Program through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services. Through her internship, Jordan was able to understand the newborn screening process from the perspective of a genetic counselor and from the perspective of a parent, which further confirmed her career goal. Jordan chose to continue her education at Rutgers because she felt a connection with the program leadership and faculty during her interview and thought that the program would have the best and most diverse opportunities for her education.
