Class of 2024

Margaux is originally from Bel Air, Maryland. She graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 2019 with degrees in Biology and High School Science Education. In her time at Miami, Margaux participated in Genetics club and also helped to teach middle and high schoolers about science. After graduation, she began volunteering for Crisis Text Line, at a pregnancy resource center, and helped to organize activities for adults with intellectual disabilities through the Harford Center. She also has been working as a GCA for GeneDx on their clinical genomics team, specifically for the rapid testing program. Margaux chose Rutgers because of how much the program faculty cared about the students, which was evident in her interview, and the diverse patient population that she will be working with throughout rotations.
