  • About:

Lindsay is from San Jose, California. She graduated from the University of San Diego in 2020 with a B.A. in Behavioral Neuroscience and a minor in Marketing. After graduating, she worked as an SEO analyst & content writer at a marketing agency based in San Diego. Wanting to pivot into something more aligned with her science background, she started working as a genetic counseling assistant in the Medical Genetics department at UCSF where she worked with both adult and pediatric patients. After a year, she transferred to the Cancer Genetics & Prevention Program at UCSF to get experience with a new patient population. Lindsay chose to attend Rutgers because of their innovative and open-minded perspective on the growing field of genetic counseling and the dedication that they show to their students. She is also excited to explore the east coast and experience a real fall and winter!
