Class of 2025 Member

Lauren (Laurie) is originally from Hollis, New Hampshire. In 2023, she received her bachelor's degree in Genetics with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers University. During her time as an undergraduate, she completed the Genetic Counseling Certificate Program, which included shadowing genetic counselors and learning more about the profession. She also participated in the College Support Program as a peer mentor for Rutgers students on the autism spectrum. In her senior year, Lauren had the unique opportunity to audit one of the second-year courses and experience the interactive, supportive environment that exists between the leadership and students in the program. The connection she felt to the faculty as well as the many opportunities the program has to offer are just some of the reasons why Laurie chose to continue her education at Rutgers!
