Class of 2025 Member

Brittany Cooper is originally from Rockland County, New York. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduation, she joined Teach For America- New York and taught sixth grade science. Connecting with students’ families was Brittany’s favorite part of her role, and this inspired her to become a genetic counselor. After teaching, Brittany worked as a clinical research coordinator in order to gain experience in a healthcare setting. She is excited to study at Rutgers because of the access to excellent clinical rotations and opportunity to work with linguistically diverse patients.
