Grace is from Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2022 with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Spanish. During undergrad, she conducted research with the University of Cincinnati’s Biological Anthropology Department where she outlined a process for disclosing genetic research results to marginalized populations. After graduation, she worked as a genetic counseling assistant at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY, assisting both the genetic counseling team and the pharmacogenomics team. Grace chose Rutgers because the faculty was passionate about their students and she appreciated the variety of experiences the program had to offer.
