    Didar is from Paterson, NJ, and graduated from William Paterson University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Public Health through the Honors College. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a research assistant in two projects: one focusing on children's environmental health and the other on the microbiome of honeybee guts. He also worked as a tutor for multiple science courses and was president of the Future Healthcare Professionals club. Additionally, he volunteered as a crisis counselor. One of the key highlights of his academic experience was presenting his honors thesis on the comprehensiveness, inclusivity, and accessibility of newborn screening at the 2024 Northeast Regional Honors Council Conference in Albany, NY. Didar is eager to pursue the educational and outreach opportunities offered by the Rutgers Genetic Counseling Master’s Program to support his future career path.
