Class of 2027 Member

Maya grew up in Villanova, PA, and graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2021 with a degree in Biology. During her time there, she served as captain of the women's soccer team. After graduation, she worked at Fox Chase Cancer Center in the cancer epigenetics department. She then spent two years as a clinical research coordinator at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she studied genetic factors associated with pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Maya chose Rutgers for the proximity and access to major health care systems.
