- About:
Jenn was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. While at NAU, Jenn worked as an intern for the immunology team at the Translational Genomics Research Institute's Pathogen and Microbiome Division, where she contributed to research to understand the immunological response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and SARS-CoV-2. After graduating, Jenn continued to work in various laboratory settings in Arizona, until moving to North Carolina in 2023. While in North Carolina, she worked as a Clinical Research Specialist for the Novant Health Oncology Department and later as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Neurology Department. During her time in North Carolina, Jenn also volunteered for a domestic violence crisis hotline and as a "family pal" at Victory Junction for children with serious medical conditions and their families. Jenn chose Rutgers because of the unique rotation opportunities and welcoming environment created by current students.
