Class of 2027 Member

Julia is originally from Burlington, New Jersey. She graduated in 2023 with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Psychology from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). During her time at TCNJ, Julia served as a Resident Assistant for two years and was a member of TriBeta Biological Honor Society. After graduating, she worked as a genetic counseling assistant for Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in the Section of Perinatal Genetics. While there, she was involved in several genetics and OB-GYN studies, one of which researched ethnic disparities between Tier 3 and Tier 4 carrier screening. Julia recognized Rutgers as the ideal program for her through her experience as a GCA, during which she developed meaningful connections and observed firsthand the program’s strong culture of support.
