Class of 2027 Member

Isabela is from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2024, where she received her B.A. in Microbiology and minored in Spanish. Her passion for genetic counseling grew during her time as a genetic counseling assistant with Geisinger's Department of Developmental Medicine, which gave her the opportunity to work with children with developmental differences and their families. Isabela chose Rutgers's GCMP because of their commitment to fostering representation in the field, authentic conversations with program leadership, genuine nature of the program and the ability to work with a diverse patient population at a wide variety of rotation sites.
