  • About:

Adam is from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, a town just outside of Philadelphia. Originally on the pre-med track, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a B.A. in Public Health and a minor in Chemistry. Since graduating, he has spent time working with Prevention Point Philadelphia to provide health services to the homeless population of Northeast Philadelphia, volunteering to teach music to underserved children with Play On Philly, and volunteering with the Crisis Text Line as a counselor. He spent over a year and a half working as a Genetic Counseling Assistant at the Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and most of that time as the Laboratory Customer Service Coordinator at the lab. Adam chose Rutgers because of the dedication and support of the program leadership, and the strong camaraderie between and within the cohorts.
