Class of 2028 Member

Emma is from Hillsborough, New Jersey and graduated from the College of William & Mary in December 2025 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Public Health: Health Equity and Justice. As an undergraduate, they worked as a research assistant in the William & Mary Autism Lab, where they studied bias against autistic people as well as gaze patterns and emotion processing in individuals with autistic traits. Through the Autism Lab, they completed their undergraduate honors thesis and later published “General and Intimacy-Specific Attitudes Toward Autistic People: The Role of an Educational Intervention” in Research in Neurodiversity. In 2025, Emma interned at Rutgers University through the Warren Alpert Foundation Alliance for Genetic Counseling Fellowship. After graduation, they began serving as the Program Coordinator for the It’s On Us grant at the Community College of Allegheny County, where they organize sexual violence prevention programming for students and faculty. Emma chose Rutgers because of its warm program leadership, commitment to personalized learning experiences, and focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion within healthcare.
