Class of 2028 Member

Emme is from Metuchen, New Jersey, and graduated from Fairfield University in 2026 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Health Studies. As an undergraduate, she worked as a biology research assistant studying beta cell identity in Type 1 diabetes and completed her Health Studies capstone, Rare but Resilient: The Human and Genetic Stories Shaping Rare Disease Care. In the summer of 2025, Emme participated as an intern in the Warren Alpert Foundation Alliance for Genetic Counseling Fellowship at Rutgers. She also volunteers with several organizations, including Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health Children's Specialized Hospital. Emme chose Rutgers because of its supportive faculty and the clinical rotation and networking opportunities the program offers throughout New Jersey and beyond.
