Class of 2028 Member

Jodi is from Glassboro, New Jersey, and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2024, where she received her B.S. in Genetics minored in Psychology. At UNH, she worked as a Campus Ambassador for the UNH-4U Post Secondary Education Program for individuals with intellectual disability. This work inspired Jodi to create an independent research project, where she explored the variation in the inclusion efforts of peer support staff within the UNH-4U program. She presented her findings at the All Colleges Research Symposium, where she received the Undergraduate Research Conference Award of Excellence for her poster presentation. After graduating, Jodi spent two years working as a Laboratory genetic counseling assistnat in the Genomic Diagnostic Laboratory at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, primarily supporting the triaging workflow. Jodi chose Rutgers for the friendly demeanor and supportive culture created by program leadership and current students, as well as the wide range of clinical rotation opportunities.
