Sandra D'Elia is a board certified genetic counselor working in the LIFE Center at The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Ms. D'Elia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Genetics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and her Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from Arcadia University. Her thesis focused on The Prevention and Detection of Breast Cancer in BRCA1/2 mutation carriers. She has clinical expertise in cancer risk counseling and genetic predisposition to cancer. After graduation Ms. D'Elia worked as a Cancer Genetic Counselor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute and has been providing cancer genetic counseling services through the LIFE Center since 2012. She oversees the outreach clinics in Hamilton and Princeton, NJ.
